If you would like to walk, bike or fish at the Koetter Farm lake. Here are the steps for obtaining a permit. This permit is to participate at the Koetter farm lake area and walking path only.

1. Read and accept rules & regulations.
2. Fill out and  submit form below. Must be 18.
3. Pick up your parking permit at The Koetter Group Office. 


Upon completion of the above steps, permits will be available for pickup Monday-Friday 9am-3pm at The Koetter Group, (allow 24-48 hours upon submitting form).

Rules & Guidelines

1. Access to The Koetter Farm property is limited to The Koetter Family Assembly members (KFA) and their accompanied guest(s) only. All others, including employees and neighbors not accompanied by a KFA member must obtain permission and proper credentials to access property.  Must be 18 or accompanied by a permitted adult to access Koetter farm.

Access is limited to the fenced in area within the walking path surrounding the lake, (off Pete Andres Road and adjacent to The Koetter Group).

 There are only limited agritourism activities are allowed at the Koetter Farm. Those activities are defined as walking, bicycling and fishing,


The only natural resource based agritourism activity allowed is fishing. Fishing requires that you follow Indiana Department of Natural Resource regulations.

Absolutely, NO access to the barn(s), farm equipment or farm animals.

2. All guest are to display parking permit in a visible place on their mode of transportation.

3. All permit holders are to park their mode of transportation in the lower lot of The Koetter Group. Do not park around the lake or within the fenced area. The parking lot is located behind and to the left of the main office (East side of the fence). Do not park on Pete Andres Road.

4. No driving or parking anywhere within the fenced area(s)of the Koetter Farm.

5. Activities allowed are only permitted when Koetter Farm is open. Koetter Farm hours are from dawn to dusk. Unless posted as Closed.

6.  Koetter Farm is also CLOSED upon discretion for private and family events. Upon closing this will be posted at both entrances of the Koetter Farm. You can also check Koetterfarm.com for recent updates and planned event(s) closing.

7. No camp fires.

8. No motorized vehicles, motorcycles, ATV’s, drones or watercraft are allowed.

9. No hunting or trapping.

10. No use of weirs, lines, explosives, archery, firearms, electric currents or any substances that may weaken or poison the fish are allowed to be used at the Koetter Farm. Subject to change based on farm management. 

11. No swimming.

12. No horses.

13. No ice fishing. Use of frozen lake is strictly prohibited.

14. Follow current slot limits for fishing. (See below for updated slot limits.)

*Prior to accessing the Koetter Farm all guest must have permission form on file at The Koetter Group Office. Must be 18 or accompanied by a permitted adult to access Koetter farm.

*Guest must also have picked up the the parking permit from The Koetter Group office. Guest must also display the parking permit in/on their mode of transportation.


WARNING ‐ Under Indiana law, an agritourism provider (Koetter Farm) is not liable for an injury to, or the death of, a participant in agritourism activities at this location if the death or injury results from the inherent risks of agritourism activity. Inherent risks of agritourism activities include risks of injury inherent to land, equipment, and animals as well as the potential for you to act in a negligent manner that may contribute to your injury or death, or for other participants to act in a manner that may cause you injury or cause your death. You are assuming the risk of participating in this agritourism activity.


As defined and posted are the agritourism activities allowed at Koetter Farm. Proper permitting can be obtained at KoetterFarm.com or at Koetter Group Office (9am-3pm). Permit must be obtained before activity allowed.

These activities are defined as when a participant enjoys activities of recreational or entertainment purposes. Defined as walking or bicycling (around lake path only) and fishing, the only natural resource‐based agritourism activity allowed.
